Halloween Song

We have been learning a fun Halloween song in preschool this past week.  It goes to the tune of "Where is Thumbkin."

Bones are rattling, bones are rattling.

I am scared, I am scared.

Who will come and save me? Who will come and save me?

Run and hide, run and hide.

Red Barn Fun

We had such a fun field trip out to the "Big Red Barn." We were able to see the apple orchards, the peach orchards, and pumpkin patch on our hay ride.  The kids were able to choose a pumpkin to take home, which we then painted in preschool.  What a fun way to kick off the fall season!

Names, Names, Names

We have been working hard with letter blocks, practice writing pages, name tags, and name plates to learn our names. Our goal by the end of the year is for each of our preschoolers to recognize their own name and be able to spell it.  Keep up the good work kids!

Fall Break

Don't forget that this coming week is our Fall Break.  We will have our regular preschool class on Tuesday, but class will not be held on Thursday.  Have a fun and safe Fall Break and I'll will see the kids again on Tuesday Otc. 25th.

Welcome to Growing Minds Preschool! I am excited to start this blog to keep you up to date on the happenings of our class. We have been learning so much and having so much fun together in class so far this year. All the students are doing so well and remembering the procedures and routines we go through each day.
